Tristan Dalgety

Hi, I'm Tristan! I am currently the Incident Manager for Acquia DAM. I've been working for Acquia for 5 years now but was originally working for a Madison software company, Widen, before we were acquired. I started at Widen as a Tier 1 Support Specialist and within 2 years was helping lead the Tier 2 Technical Support team. After we were acquired I seized the opportunity to further improve my skills and joined the Engineering team as Incident Manager. Despite the title, managing incidents is only a small part of what I do and like to work on. The majority of my time is spent leading and contributing to a team focused on fixing bugs and handling escalations. This fits me perfectly as my passions are learning, solving problems and helping others. This role allows me to do all three while also furthering my development and people skills. Outside of work I am an avid video game player, reader and dog lover. I am currently playing the new Elden Ring DLC and reading book 5 of the Dune series. My wife and I own four dogs of various breeds that we are often doing hikes or sports with. I love meeting new people so feel free to say hi in person!
